One of these summer nights, Luxury Concierge, Greece’s largest concierge company hosted for the first time an exclusive Open Day event for Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches Global Hospitality Education.  Building on a common background in luxury hospitality, Luxury Concierge introduced hospitality management education to its network in Greece considering careers in luxury tourism.

The event took place at the Private House of Island Club & Restaurant on the discretely illuminated hillside of the Athens Riviera. Following an interactive presentation, cocktails decorated the enchanting horizon backdrop.

Both schools offer courses based on the Swiss model of hospitality education, under the umbrella of Sommet Education. Hospitality graduates increasingly transfer to sectors such as luxury retail, cruises, consulting or finance.

The dynamic hospitality field has strong demand for new talent and offers qualified graduates job opportunities across the globe. At the same time, it calls for a sophisticated shift in focus to deal with quality, rather than quantitative-only facts and figures.
